Pfc George W. Pferdeort (Now Reverend Pferdeort) served both in the 253d and 254th as a chaplain's assistant. He is now retired as a Methodist Minister after serving churches in the

After going for a couple of years on this site as unidentified, we finally have the identity of the men in this photo. This information was supplied by David Cline of Boone NC, son of William A Cline, Medical Detachment, 254th Infantry Regiment. It appears that most of the men listed were in Med Det, 254th Infantry Regiment, so I will assume that they all were: So here goes: Front Row (L-R) Rodgers, Hanadel, Mitchell, Kenah, Parangian, Wishnow and Hirt. Middle Row (L-R) O"Conner, Mainini, Gezzer. Standing (L-R) Suttle, William A. Cline (David's Dad), Steiner, Jones, Dort, Ontko, Olikoff, Frances, League, Morrissey, Pratt, Noll, Knox, Walczak and Rosen.
